Tern the Page Book Club: “Keep Looking Up” with Tammah Watts, Virtual Meet the Author
Friday, May 29 @ 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm

Tern the Page is a book club for nature enthusiasts and bird nerds who are excited to learn and build community throughout the year, presented in partnership between Hog Island Audubon Camp and Camden Public Library.

Each season, we will feature one book that connects to our themes. There will be two meetings for each title: a book club meeting and discussion at Camden Public Library (tea, coffee, and cookies provided!) and then a virtual Q&A session over Zoom with the author!
Our book for spring is Keep Looking Up: Your Guide to the Powerful Healing of Birdwatching by Tammah Watts.
Book club meeting & discussion: Friday, April 24 at 4:30 PM at Camden Public Library
Virtual Meet the Author session: Friday, May 29 at 4:30 PM on Zoom

Tammah Watts (she/her) is a Best-selling Author, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Certified Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide, birder, and an advocate for the equitable accessibility of nature, health, and mental health for all. She has served communities for over 35 years in managerial, clinical, and consulting roles for private, non-profit, colleges, and public sectors.
KEEP LOOKING UP: Your Guide to the Powerful Healing of Birdwatching, with Hay House, is her first book–a narrative memoir and guidebook with contemplative exercises– that chronicles her journey towards healing by meaningfully connecting with birds.
She brings that same passion to conservation and birding by serving on the Audubon CA Advisory Board of Directors as the Southern California Audubon Chapter Council Representative, Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Project Feeder Watch + DISES Project Advisory Board, and her local San Diego Bird Alliance board.
