MARVEL is now the Digital Maine Library. Maine’s online resources have been known as MARVEL since 2004. In September 2018 The Maine State Library and Maine InfoNet introduced a replacement, the Digital Maine Library! A new name, a new logo, a new website and new technologies providing access to both old and new content.

The Digital Maine Library provides every resident of Maine with access to online resources that include a collection of full text articles and abstracts from magazines, newspapers, journals and reference. It also provides students, business people, public library patrons, and higher education students and educators the ability to use online learning tools.

You can access the Digital Maine Library through any public computer within the library, or from home (must be located geographically in Maine) using your library barcode number located on the back of your Camden Public Library card. Please call us if you are having trouble logging into this service so we can verify if your card is currently valid.

NEW: Digital Maine Library uses your geolocation information to help determine where you are located. This will ease the login requirement and ensure that only those located in Maine are able to access the content. Read more about it here.
