Virtual Author Q&A with Brandon Keim, “Eye of the Sandpiper” (Tern the Page Book Club with Hog Island Audubon Camp)

Join us to kick off the 2026 season of Tern the Page book club presented in partnership between Hog Island Audubon Camp and Camden Public Library! This is a book club for nature enthusiasts and bird nerds who are excited to learn and build community throughout the year!
Each season, we will feature one book that connects to our themes. There will be a two-part discussion for each title: an in person discussion at Camden Public Library (tea and coffee provided!) and a virtual ‘Meet the Author’ Q&A session over zoom. Up first this winter is Brandon Keim’s The Eye of the Sandpiper. Brandon Keim is a Maine-based journalist specializing in nature, animals, and science. He tells stories of nonhuman minds and natural wonders; his work has appeared in publications including The New York Times, The Atlantic, WIRED, National Geographic, and Nautilus, where he is a contributing editor.

The in person book club is free to participate for all local community members. You will receive the link to the zoom meeting in your registration confirmation email.
