Improv for Fun and Relaxation (Jumpstart January – Registration Required)

Friday, January 16 @ 4:00 pm 5:30 pm

Join us for an introduction to the games of Viola Spolin, known as the mother of improv. These games calm the nervous system, increase awareness, access intuition, and offer a creative group experience.

This fun workshop takes place on Friday, January 16 at 4:00 PM in the Picker Room. Adults, families, and all ages are welcome!

Laurie Block Spigel, educator, author and Maine resident, has studied intensively with Aretha Sills, Spolin’s granddaughter. Laurie has taught improv and playwriting, and applied improv games to other subjects, in classes for children, teens and adults.
