Virtual Author Discussion: “Nesting” by Roisín O’Donnell (Finding Our Voices Book Club)

Roisín O’Donnell, author of Nesting, will be joining us from Ireland over Zoom to discuss her “heart-pounding, life-affirming story about one woman trying to leave her marriage and start over.”

Roisín O’Donnell is a Sunday Times bestselling Irish author. Her debut novel Nesting won the award for Novel of the Year at the An Post Irish Book Awards 2025 and was nominated for the Women’s Prize for Fiction. Her short story collection Wild Quiet was published in 2016 and was shortlisted for the Kate O’Brien Award and longlisted for the Edge Hill Prize.


Finding Our Voices is the grassroots survivor-powered nonprofit breaking the silence of domestic abuse across Maine and providing resources and connection to its sister-survivors. Founder Patrisha McLean also hosts the radio show “Let’s Talk About It” featuring conversations with domestic violence survivors on WERU every second Friday of the month.
