6th Grade “Art with Impact” Kick-Off

The local 6th grade class from Camden-Rockport Middle School will host a kick-off event on Wednesday, May 13, 11:30 AM in the Picker Room for their Art with Impact project.
The students researched how a changing climate is impacting the “Maine way of life” and created engaging pieces of art that integrate real data, inspired by the work of scientist and artist Jill Pelto.
The artworks will be placed around our community to share what the students have learned. After the kick-off they will lead a walking tour through town to view the student artwork on display. All are welcome!
