‘Building Healthy Brain Habits’ with Ralph Dean, Community Educator with Alzheimer’s Association

The public is invited to a presentation by Ralph Dean, a community educator with the Alzheimer’s Association, in the Picker Room on Tuesday, May 18 at 6:30 PM.
Ralph Dean, Community Educator with the Alzheimer’s Association, will share a presentation about building brain-healthy habits, describing lifestyle changes that can improve and extend one’s cognitive function. Specifically, it covers:
- How taking care of one’s brain health is important now and throughout your life.
- How to recognize the actions and habits that can protect and improve brain health.
- How to make a plan to use the tips and info provided to build and implement those habits.
Ralph Dean is a retired Naval Aviator who has been volunteering as a community educator and advocate for the Alzheimer’s Association of Maine since 2025. He was the primary caregiver for his wife prior to her death from Alzheimer’s dementia earlier that year.
