Pop-Up Professional Development for Teachers! “Wetlands: Nature’s Kidneys” — Herring Gut Coastal Science Center and Midcoast Conservancy

Attention teachers! Herring Gut Coastal Science Center and Midcoast Conservancy are hosting this pop-up professional development workshop all about wetlands. This is not a Camden Public Library event, but will take place in the Picker Room at Camden Public Library on Wednesday, March 25, 4:00 – 5:45 PM.

Build a wetland model to teach students the types of wetlands present in Maine and how they function to filter and clean water much like our kidneys. Receive a stipend, 1.5 contact hours, and a class materials kit! Registration required.
