CANCELED Book Talk: “Within Me” with Kaitlyn Rightmeyer
Tuesday, May 19 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
This event has been canceled.
Camden Public Library welcomes author Kaitlyn Rightmeyer to share her book of poetry and prose, Within Me.

“Within Me is a reflective and liberating tale of coming alive in a world that would stop at nothing to tear us apart. Through weaving her narrative with lived wisdom gathered along the way, Kaitlyn Rightmeyer explores themes of vulnerability, love, resilience, and hope. Her words inspire honest expression and awaken the promise of freedom found within our own. Within Me mirrors the possibilities within each of us when we live intimately from the heart, guiding us back to love, where all things are possible. Because love is everything, all at once.”
Kaitlyn Rightmyer is a New York City-based artist and visionary, exploring the depths of living fully alive from the heart.
“They say the path is narrow—the path of the heart and the path of soul reclamation. The path is narrow because it’s so truly unique for each of us, yet it feels vast in the ways it takes us far and wide as we walk it. This has at least been the way my story has unfolded.

It feels as if I’ve lived many lifetimes in this one alone. As I reflect over the years of my journey, of all that I have experienced to shed the layers and layers of myself that weren’t true, I see such a painfully and beautifully woven unfolding. I see a journey of reclaiming my heart—all that I am. I see a journey of moving through so much grief. I see a journey of remembrance and revelation and forgiveness. I see a journey of letting life crack me open over and over to be able to fully live it.
This is where my path to writing began. My voice was something that was taken from me time and time again. Writing allowed me to free my heart and find that voice. It allowed me to reflect and explore. And through this liberation of myself, the artist in me slowly awoke. She had been dormant for a very long time, waiting to be freed. This is why I share my medicine through writing and art. They were how I found healing of my own.” – Kaitlyn Rightmeyer
