Programs will be held via Zoom on Tuesdays at 9:30 AM\, January 28 – February 25\, 2025. Click here to view a list of all programs in this year’s series. \n\n\n\nRegister for this program here: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_kkmDkKAxSDCvrQwqhP7f-w \n\n\n\nOn Tuesday\, January 28\, at 9:30 a.m.\, the Camden Garden Club welcomes Becca Rodomsky-Bish from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology to discuss managing our landscapes for biodiversity and birds and why it’s important. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBecca Rodoomsky-Bish is an avid gardener\, for both her family and the birds. She creates abundant\, beautiful gardens to feed them all. She holds an M.S. in Environmental Studies from Antioch University and a B.A. in Anthropology fromSonoma State University. \n\n\n\nOriginally\, she found her way to the Cornell Lab by working on a project called Habitat Network that taught people about creating habitats at home and in their communities to better support birds and other wildlife. She is involved in collaborations across the Cornell Lab and Cornell University\, where she aims to support the public in engaging in activities to better support birds and biodiversity. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Camden Garden Club is a the oldest garden club in Maine. The Club was founded in 1915 by a group of like-minded women with the mission to develop and preserve the beauty in and around Camden\, Maine. \n\n\n\nOver a century later\, our mission is to cultivate the art of gardening to its fullest sense\, develop and preserve beauty in and around Camden\, and promotes civic improvements\, education\, and conservation of natural resources.
