The program will include a screening of the film The Doctrine of Discovery: Unmasking the Domination Code. \n\n\n\nDwayne Tomah is a language keeper\, director\, and curator of the Sipayik Museum and teacher of the Passamaquoddy language and culture\, He is the youngest fluent speaker of the Passamoquoddy Tribe and has served on the tribal council. \n\n\n\nDwayne Tomah since a Passamaquoddy song outside of his home in Perry\, Maine. These beginning classes are beneficial for people of all levels of fitness—developing awareness\, relaxation\, energy\, flexibility\, strength\, balance\, and pleasure in the open air. \n\n\n\nTai Chi meets in the Amphitheatre. On Thursdays in the summer\, we meet on the Upper Lawn. \n\n\n\n\nAnna Dembska is a certified teacher of Yang Family tai chi. She studies tai chi and qigong with Mike Shunney in Rockland and Zhong Xuechao (Master Bing) from Wudang Mountain\, China. She has also studied Yang Family tai chi with Grandmaster Yang Jun and San Shou two-person play with Dr. Jay Dunbar and Kathleen Cusick. Anna is a singer\, composer\, and voice teacher by profession\, and her tai chi teaching is informed by its many similarities with vocal technique\, which she has been practicing and teaching for many years. \n\n\n\nClasses are by donation\, with a portion of the proceeds donated to the Camden Public Library.
