SUMMARY:In Person & On Zoom: Camden Philosophical Society Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Camden Philosophical Society meets on the third Tuesday of each month for reading and discussion.  \n\n\n\nThe Camden Philosophical Society will be discussing Aristotle’s Poetics its next regularly scheduled gathering\, on Tuesday\, March 21\, from 3:30-5:30 pm. All are welcome to participate in this hybrid session\, with in-person at the Picker Room of the Camden Public Library or by Zoom. \n\n\n\nOur aim is to focus the discussion primarily on Aristotle’s views on tragedy\, following on our recent readings from Albert Camus and Simone Weil. A copy of the Poetics can be found online at https://homepages.hass.rpi.edu/ruiz/AdvancedIntegratedArts/ReadingsAIA/Aristotle%20Poetics.pdf  \n\n\n\nThe following chapters constitute the particular readings selected for discussion at this session:                                                                                                                                          6: Definition of Tragedy7: Plot8: More on Plot9: Introduction of Catharsis11. SUMMARY:Camden Nursing Circle
DESCRIPTION:Expectant and nursing parents are encouraged to join a community nursing circle in the Children’s Room of the Camden Library every 4th Wednesday from 4:30p to 5:30pm. The group welcomes families of all stripes and nurslings of all ages. Come with your nursing-related questions\, concerns or curiosities\, or come simply to commune.  \n\n\n\nThe gathering will be facilitated by Lulu Churchill (CLC) with input about library resources from children’s librarian Amy Hand. Lulu Churchill completed her certification in Lactation Management through the Center for Breastfeeding at the Healthy Children Project.
