DESCRIPTION:Kite Vacation Camp \n\n\n\nJoin Miss Amy and Miss Stefanie for Kite Camp during school vacation (April 16-18\, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)! This is for school age kids\, kindergarten to 12 years old. There is limited space\, so call\, email\, or come to the library to sign up. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay 1 – Tuesday\, April 16: Design and decorate our kites! \n\n\n\nDay 2 – Wednesday\, April 17: Build and assemble our kites! \n\n\n\nDay 3 – Thursday\, April 18: Weather permitting…We will be spooling our string\, making our tails and flying our kites across in Harbor park!

SUMMARY:Park Clean-Up Day: Volunteers Needed!
DESCRIPTION:The Camden Public Library is seeking volunteers to help with the annual Spring Clean-Up Day on Saturday\, April 27\, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The objective will be to clean up leaves\, brush\, trash\, etc. that have accumulated over the winter and during recent storms. Volunteers should bring gloves\, leaf rakes\, weeding tools\, and pruners. Parks Director Dave Jackson will meet volunteers in the Camden Amphitheatre\, organize the crew\, and assign tasks. ALL AGES WELCOME! \n\n\n\n“The Amphitheatre needs some TLC to prepare for outdoor enjoyment in the warmer months ahead\,” says Jackson. “We are grateful for the community’s help with our National Historic Landmark!” \n\n\n\nFor more information\, and to sign-up to volunteer\, email dpjackson@librarycamden.org. Due to utility work\, Atlantic Avenue will be partially closed during this time. Volunteers should check in with Dave via email or cell phone (207-542-5801) on Friday\, April 26 for the latest information about how to access the parks.
