Monday Morning Book Club: “Night of the Living Rez” by Morgan Talty | HYBRID: In-Person and on Zoom

This month, the Monday Morning Book Club will try out a hybrid format. The meeting will take place in-person in the Picker Room as usual, with tech set up to stream the meeting virtually on Zoom at the same time. Members who join via Zoom can participate just as in-person members do.

The Monday Morning Book Club meets in the Picker Room of the Camden Public Library on the 4th Monday of each month at 10:00 am.

Summary: Set in a Native community in Maine, this collection about what it means to be Penobscot in the twenty-first century and what it means to live, to survive, and to persevere after tragedy. In twelve stories, the author breathes life into tales of family and a community as they struggle with a painful past and an uncertain future. A collection that examines the consequences and merits of inheritance.
