Maine Bead Society Meeting Open to the Public
Sunday, April 26, 2020 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
If you love beads and all things bead-related, come join us. We are a social club in the state of Maine whose purpose is to elevate our members’ abilities in the art of beadwork.
Started by a group of mid-coast beaders, the Maine Bead Society (MBS) has grown to include folks from all over the state with a shared love and variety of interests in beads. With abilities ranging from novice to highly experienced, our group includes stitchers, stringers, wire workers, embroiderers, and braiders, to name just some of the specialties within the membership. All types of beaders of age eighteen and over are welcome and invited to join us. No matter what your level of expertise is (including none!), we encourage you to bring your love of beads and join us as we create a statewide organization to foster and encourage the art of beadwork.
|The object of the Maine Bead Society is to further the art of beading in a noncompetitive atmosphere, to promote and encourage beadwork and other related beading and jewelry making and to organize for the advancement of the educational and social connections of our members.|
This is a free gathering and is open to everyone. For more information:
