Jumpstart January: The Science of Extreme Candy, A Tasty Learning Event
Tuesday, January 26, 2021 @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
It’s time to cheat on your New Year’s diet and join the Camden Public Library on Tuesday, January 26, at 6:00 pm for an online program called The Science of Extreme Candy: A Tasty Learning Event. This interactive program on Zoom is open to adults, children, families—anyone with a sweet tooth. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to register and to receive a link to attend.
Participants will learn the science behind some of the wackiest candies that pop, fizz, heat, cool, and cause your mouth to pucker. Best of all, everyone will be able to try a variety of crazy candy using “tasting kits” that participants will need to pick up from the library prior to the program on Zoom. There are fifteen tasting kits available for this program (families can share the contents of one kit), and a small fee of $5 to help cover kit costs. Details for payment and candy pick-up will be supplied when you register by emailing email@example.com.
