Jumpstart January Series – Colonial Cooking for the Modern Kitchen

Thursday, January 30 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Every January, the Camden Public Library hosts a series of workshops to inspire the community to get creative and learn new skills during one of the coldest, darkest months of the year.

During this session, Programs Coordinator Julia will review popular recipes from Colonial New England Cookbooks and teach participants how to adapt and recreate the recipes in a modern kitchen. Participants will make switchel, shrub, a homemade salad dressing, and journey cakes.

All of the Jumpstart January program are designed for adults. Registration is required, and spaces are limited. There is a $10 fee to help cover program costs. Please call 236-3440 to register to participate.

Additional Jumpstart January Programs will be held on:

Saturday, January 11 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm (Envelope Pocket Portfolio with Robinsunne)
Tuesday, January 14 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm (Papercutting with Loraine)
Tuesday, January 28 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm (Doodle Stitching & Embroidery with Amy)
