Historic Walking Tours

Friday, July 31, 2020 @ 4:00 pm 5:00 pm

The Camden Public Library is pleased to offer a walking tour of downtown Camden. This entertaining and educational walking tour features a handful of historic sites in downtown Camden, including the Camden Public Library grounds and Amphitheatre, which were designated a National Historic Landmark in 2013. Learn about the people, places, and industries that continue to make Camden a special destination. The tour begins in the Children’s Garden of the Camden Public Library on Atlantic Avenue and ends at the Village Green. Moderate walking involved; suitable for all ages.

The 60-minute tour will be conducted in compliance with COVID 19 guidelines established by the State of Maine. To that end, the tour will be conducted entirely out-of-doors and will be weather dependent. Face masks will be required, and the tour will be limited to 6 people. Advance reservations are also required; please call the Library at 207-236-3440 to book your spot.

Free of charge and open to all, though donations are cheerfully accepted. Service dogs welcome.

This is the last tour of the season.
