Hester Kohl Presents: Finding Joyful Movement in Winter
Tuesday, February 25, 2020 @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
We’ve all heard the benefits of physical activity, yet it’s hard to keep moving consistently, especially during Maine’s winters. How many times have you thought, “I really should add more physical activity to my life.” But what about adding life to your physical activity? In this program you will learn how to replace negative thoughts about exercise with positive, empowering thoughts that help you get moving; how to select activities based on your “exercise personality”; and learn how to use balance, variety and moderation to make movement a consistent joyful part of your lifestyle.
Hester Kohl, National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, is here to support your health and happiness! She’s passionate about making wellness fun and joyful! Through her experience coaching with Waldo County General Hospital and Pen Bay Medical Center for 8 years, then managing a statewide health coaching program for Maine DOT in Augusta, she’s learned that joy is the key to long-term wellness. She and her fiancé recently returned to the Midcoast because they missed their favorite people and places. Kohl says that she loves living in Camden and finds her joy walking to Curtis Island Overlook and biking the Beauchamp Point loop.
