“Mainely Stocks” Club Continues March 11
Interested in learning more about how to find great stocks to invest? The Camden Public Library hosts an informal group interested in the ins and outs of personal investment. The group calls itself “Mainely Stocks” and will help members find great investment ideas and uncover the best websites and resources on the Internet. Beginners are more than welcome. The next meeting is Thursday, March 11, at 6:00 pm in the second floor meeting room.
Topics include value investing, technical analysis, swing trading, macroeconomics, and much more. Mainely Stocks is open to investors of any experience.
The club will be facilitated by Mark Feldman, self-described “stock market addict.” Mark has been investing independently full-time for three years, managing portfolios for family members. He has never worked on Wall Street and has never accepted a bailout. He is not a broker and he does not represent any financial institution, but he does love the stock market. “Make 2010 the best year ever!” he says.
The group will meet on the second Thursday of the month in the second floor meeting room at the library, beginning on January 14, 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The following meeting dates are February 11, March 11, and April 8. Call the library at 236-3440 for more information or email Feldman at ari5000@yahoo.com. Participants are invited to bring their laptop if they have one, but it is not a necessity.
