Job Search & Training Resources for Maine’s Job Seekers, May 18 and May 21

Monday, May 18, 2015 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

The Camden Public Library is pleased to host an information briefing for Knox County job seekers. Kevin Connors, CareerCenter Consultant for the Maine Department of Labor (MDOL), and Richard Sterrs, Business Services Representative for Goodwill Workforce Solutions, will present an overview of job search resources and job-related training opportunities available to area job seekers. There will be two sessions of the presentation: Monday, May 18, 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 pm; and Thursday, May 21, 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. All are welcome!

Kevin and Richard will explain about the network of workforce readiness professionals that support job seekers and employers throughout the county, region, and state. Participants will become familiar with various Federal and State training grants that help job seekers obtain the skills and knowledge they need for in-demand jobs now and in the future.
